The newly redecorated Grassalkovich Castle (Baroque style,
built in 1744) was the most favourite place of Queen Elizabeth
(Sisi). Other famous attractions: Baroque paintings in the lower
church; train station, former royal waiting hall; Agricultural
University - a former Premonstratensian monastery, with Amerigo
Tot's sculpture, "The Apotheosis of Seed" in the main
hall; The History of Machinery Museum; Municipal Museum; Museum
of Apiary and the Arboretum.
